Şehitkamil Daily Rental Prices by Neighbourhood

Daily rental prices in Şehitkamil depend on the neighbourhood, not the district. The centre, the hospital corridor, the mall belt, the Zeugma area and how apartment type affects the price.

Residential apartment blocks in Gaziantep

Şehitkamil has 144 neighbourhoods. In two different neighbourhoods of the same district, in the same week, the price paid for a similar-sized apartment can double. In Emlakjet's August 2026 listings the district's floor price was 599 lira, with more than seventy listings. Within that range you will find both an apartment ten minutes from the city centre and one near the district boundary where you need a car for everything. Şehitkamil daily rental prices really depend not on the district but on where in the district you are.

Why are the central neighbourhoods more expensive?

The southern edge of the district, the neighbourhoods near the Şahinbey border, has the easiest access to the historic centre. Nightly rates here run above the district average, apartments here sell out first during religious holiday weeks, and guests who book late find themselves in a neighbourhood they did not want. It is always the same pattern. Prices fall as you head north. But every hundred lira saved costs you two taxi rides. Over a three-night stay, the three hundred lira saved goes straight back on six rides. That is why Şehitkamil daily rental prices cannot be read on their own; transport has to go on the bill next to them.

The hospital corridor sets its own prices

The city's major healthcare institutions are concentrated in this district, and the apartments around them see a demand of their own. Families coming for treatment think in weeks, not days. As a result, apartments along this corridor stay booked for long stretches, and waiting for a nightly discount rarely works, because the operators have no empty-night problem to begin with. On the other hand, the same apartments are flexible on weekly rates. On the hospital corridor, what is scarce is not price but free dates. Accommodation near hospitals is a topic in its own right.

Around the malls and boulevards

The middle belt is the busiest area. This strip of wide boulevards and shopping centres carries most of the district's daily rental supply. The apartments here are usually in gated complexes, with covered parking, in newer buildings. Prices sit slightly below the central neighbourhoods. Air conditioning in summer, a combi boiler in winter, parking all year round. These three are almost standard in complex apartments, while in the older parts of town you have to ask about each one.

Around Zeugma

The Zeugma Mosaic Museum's address is in the Mithatpaşa neighbourhood, so the museum lies within Şehitkamil. According to figures released by the Governorship of Gaziantep, the museum welcomed 237,916 visitors in the first five months of 2026. A guest staying near the museum walks in in the morning, goes back to the apartment to rest at midday, and finishes the day in the evening at the bazaar on the Şahinbey side. That loop does not work from a stay outside the city. For a family that wants to make the museum's opening hours, distance matters more than the nightly rate.

Apartment type makes a bigger difference than the neighbourhood

While the neighbourhood difference moves within a 20-30 percent band, the difference between apartment types is several times that. In our apartments, a studio costs 2,000 lira a night, while a 1-bedroom apartment costs 2,500 lira for 1-2 guests, 3,000 lira for 3 guests and 4,000 lira for 4-5 guests. In other words, the nightly rate for five people in a 1-bedroom apartment is exactly double that of two people in a studio. Comparing neighbourhoods before you have settled how many of you there are is therefore wasted effort. We cover the choice in detail in our studio vs 1-bedroom comparison.

Daily or monthly?

For plans longer than a month the maths changes completely. In Emlakjet's 17 August 2026 data, the average long-term rent for an apartment in the district was 21,774 lira a month. On top of that come a deposit, a one-year contract and utility connection costs. For any need shorter than three months, a furnished apartment with bills included comes out ahead. So where exactly is the line? Beyond ninety nights, a conventional lease wins; below that, the daily rental side wins every time. For longer stays, remember to ask for a special weekly or monthly rate.

When you ask about prices in Şehitkamil, mention the neighbourhood too. You will get two different answers in the same district, because what sets the price here is not the district sign but the neighbourhood itself.
