Are you looking for invoiced, corporate accommodation? Then this article is for you. Accounting first asks which document the stay will be recorded with, and only then how many nights it lasted. It is worth knowing that a payment without an invoice cannot be booked as an expense in the company's accounts, so the cheapest option is sometimes the one that cannot be recorded at all. That is why a company looking for corporate accommodation in an invoiced daily rental asks about paperwork first. Let's take a look.
Why is the permit an invoicing issue?
Law No. 7464 came into force on 1 January 2024 and made renting homes for tourism subject to permission from the Ministry of Culture and Tourism. An administrative fine per property was introduced for those operating without a permit; for 2026 the amount for a first offence is 180,617 lira. A licensed business operates on the record and can issue a corporate invoice, whereas an unlicensed place has to take payment off the books and therefore has no valid document to give your company. Asking for the permit number before booking is not just a courtesy question. We explain how to check it in our guide on choosing a safe daily rental apartment.
Who is the invoice issued to?
Should the invoice go to the company or to the employee? The company name, tax office and tax number are provided when booking. Whether the invoice is made out to the employee staying or directly to the company should be settled at the start, because the two end up in different places in the books. Pay from the company account. With a cash payment there is no bank receipt, so the expense record is weak. If the employee paid with their own card, the payment slip is attached to the expense form alongside the invoice.
What goes into the travel expense file?
The assignment letter, the accommodation invoice and the travel tickets are filed together. When the stay is covered by a single invoice, the expense form gets simpler too. The extra items often seen on hotel bills do not exist here, because electricity, water, gas and internet are included in the nightly rate. Fewer items come out of the employee's pocket to be reimbursed later. On a one-night meeting the difference is barely felt; on programmes longer than two weeks the expense form shrinks to a single line. You will find the other practical sides of work trips in our article on business travel in daily rental apartments.
Who is responsible for ID registration?
The ID details of everyone staying are legally recorded and reported to the police. The same process applies to corporate bookings, so sending the employee's full name and ID details when booking speeds things up. If the person staying changes, this has to be reported in advance. If someone on the team goes home early and someone else takes their place, the new person's details should be sent the same day.
What if the assignment runs longer?
One thing to watch out for is that assignments can be extended. If you ask at the time of booking whether you can stay on in the same apartment, you avoid the hassle of moving when the following dates have been given to another guest. Keep the deposit rate, cancellation period and refund terms in a written message; the general rules sit on top of that. A sentence said over the phone will not be remembered when the assignment is extended.
Rates for long assignments
For programmes longer than a week, ask for weekly and monthly rates; we also offer a special price for weekly and monthly stays on request. For the company, that means a lower total with the same paperwork. Ask about the rate in your booking message. Negotiating afterwards rarely works. You can find the details in our article on weekly and monthly rental apartments. Browse our apartments by team size: for a single employee a studio costs 2,000 lira a night, and for a team of two the 1-bedroom apartment, with its separate bedroom and corner sofa, costs 2,500 lira a night.
A payment without paperwork cannot be booked as an expense at the end of the month. That is what defines corporate accommodation.

Frequently Asked Questions
Who is the invoice issued to for corporate accommodation?
It can be issued to the company or to the employee staying. Because the two are recorded differently in the accounts, the choice should be settled when booking.
Can you get an invoice from a place without a permit?
An unlicensed business has to operate off the books, so it has no valid document to give the company.
Can we stay in the same apartment if the assignment is extended?
Mention the possibility of an extension when booking, because the following dates may already be reserved for another guest. For stays longer than a week, you can ask about special weekly and monthly rates in the same message.
